The game presents you with different yes/no questions. Your decisions will impact your country’s sustainability, security, and equity scores. The game will explain the consequences of your choices.

Track your progress and strive for higher scores and balance across all three factors to achieve a successful energy transition.

There are no right or wrong answers. Policy decisions are unpredictable – what works in one situation may not work in another.

If any one of the trilemma scores falls to 0, you lose the game. You win by achieving high and balanced trilemma scores.

A typical game lasts about 15–20 minutes, depending on how many decisions you need to make and how deeply you consider each choice. The experience is designed to be both engaging and quick enough to fit into a short time frame, while still offering meaningful insights into energy policy.
4. Can I replay the game?
Yes, you can replay the game as many times as you like! Each playthrough offers new scenarios, and you can experiment with different strategies to see how various decisions affect the outcomes.
