Douwe Jan Joustra works on inspiration, implementation and innovation in circular business- and policy development. Joustra identifies trending topics in circular economy and sustainability and translates these to businesses and governments. Joustra always has a focus on the next step.

Currently, he is the Implement Circular Economy (ICE-Amsterdam) founder and director. Joustra is a special envoy of the Holland Circular Hotspot. His experience includes three years as Global Head of Circular Transformation for C&A-Foundation. He holds several positions as a board member. He is also co-initiator/director of the Dutch Ecomimicry Institute.

Expert, researcher, trainer, and advocate in the field of energy transition and sustainable development with a focus on energy efficiency and energy management, ISO 50001 auditor, trainer and consultant.
